What Is The Story?

Two brothers in WWII-era Brooklyn dream and scheme to break into big-time comedy writing, but first they must deal with the demands of their eccentric family. Eugene and his older brother Stanley had already started their careers as professional comedy writers, but at home in Brighton Beach, their parents’ marriage is falling apart. When the brothers use these problems as the inspiration for a comedy skit, their family bonds threaten to disappear.
