In memorial to the true Space Oddity a year on from his untimely passing, the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra pay a special symphonic tribute to the pioneer of glam rock performing the highlights of his lengthy discography. Life on Mars, Ziggy Stardust, Ashes to Ashes and even the more recent Blackstar, the evening promises to please Bowie fans of all ages.

A boundless innovator and songwriter of extraordinary invention, David Bowie did it all, bending the rules of one genre and then creating a whole new one. Through his experimentations in glam, kraut rock, soul and dance music, he influenced every musician under the sun. Although he is gone, his music and legacy lives on in the hearts and minds millions of fans throughout the world
